刘思威,男,结构工程博士,现亚洲365bet比分副教授,中山大学“百人计划”引进人才,国际SCI期刊Advanced Steel Construction 副主编,香港钢结构学会会员及多本国际期刊审稿员。

2008年毕业于中山大学力学系交通工程专业,获工学学士学位。2013年毕业于香港理工大学土木及环境工程系,获得博士学位,导师为陈绍礼教授。20175-8月为美国Bucknell大学Visiting Scholar(访问学者)。2016-2018年为香港理工大学土木及环境工程系Research Fellow(研究员)。2014-2016年香港理工大学土木及环境工程系Postdoctoral Fellow(博士后)。2013-2014年香港理工大学土木及环境工程系Research Associate(副研究员)。2008-2009年香港理工大学土木及环境工程系Research Assistant(助理研究员)。

重要学术研究成果与贡献:

研究方向主要为钢结构稳定性理论、钢混凝土组合结构、梁柱单元理论、计算结构力学等,已发表国际期刊论文16篇,会议论文17篇及1本书章节。曾获得2014年香港理工大学优秀博士论文奖、2016年香港结构研发大奖Grand Award以及2018年香港结构研发大奖Commendation Award

曾应用相关理论及科研成果,解决了位于香港、澳门、马来西亚、新加坡、英国等地的30多个重大结构设计项目(澳门东亚运动会体育馆集训中心,澳门美高梅酒店穹顶、香港邮轮码头幕墙框架、香港西九龙高铁站复杂结点有限元分析等项目)中的技术难题,具体包含复杂钢结构设计、精细有限元结点分析、钢-混凝土组合结构设计等。

曾开发多个结构设计软件,其中主导开发的RCD 2016为任意复杂组合截面设计软件(基于所提出的类牛顿法数值分析理论),获得香港特别行政区政府屋宇署审批通过用于实际工程设计项目(软件编号S0957S0965)。
